About The Position

Mckenzie Capital (MckCap) is a fast-growing FinTech company headquartered in Miami, Florida, offering flexible financing and funding options to underserved small businesses. The company is expanding to Utah.

The full-time Pricing Underwriting Analyst will perform credit decisioning and analysis for small business loans. Reporting directly to the Director of Pricing, the analyst will review and underwrite new and renewal loan applications and determine pricing. The role suits a highly analytical, detail-oriented candidate who can succeed in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in risk, underwriting, finance, or analytical positions.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with credit bureaus and other risk assessment tools, and comfort with modeling and risk scoring.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Nice To Haves

• Business and/or subprime lending experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analysis to evaluate small business loan applications.
• Review business bank statements and credit profiles to assess risk and establish appropriate pricing structures.
• Analyze risk factors and identify opportunities to improve the risk-reward equation.
• Evaluate pricing strategies and test innovations.
• Perform initial review and underwriting/pricing of new and renewal business loans.
