About The Position

The primary function of the Pricing Analyst is to develop and support competitive pricing strategies for snow removal and landscaping services, particularly for large RFPs and national-level projects. This role focuses on creating financial models, analyzing data, and collaborating with teams to prepare accurate and profitable proposals. The Pricing Analyst also helps manage expense and subcontractor data, maintains company databases, and supports the implementation of systems like Salesforce and NetSuite, ensuring smooth operations and effective pricing processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration with focus on analytical trends
  • 1-3 years of financial or accounting experience
  • Knowledge of office administration and procedures
  • Highly Competent in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Discretion and trustworthiness due to frequent contact with confidential material
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mind required
  • Great communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation, development, and processing of sales bids and contracts for snow removal and landscaping services.
  • Work closely with the sales and management teams to develop competitive pricing strategies tailored to large RFPs, while identifying and analyzing pricing trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, administration, and management, to prepare accurate and comprehensive pricing components for RFP submissions.
  • Evaluate past RFP outcomes to refine pricing strategies and improve future bidding processes.
  • Develop detailed financial models to assess profitability, revenue impact, and cost implications of proposed pricing structures.
  • Maintain and update company databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Oversee pricing uploads for the National team in Salesforce and NetSuite.
  • Review processed field service data to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and profitability of operations.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions to enhance processes.
  • Oversee and validate expense data uploaded to the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with the National Director to generate accurate customer billing information based on storm data and service records.
  • Run monthly revenue reports to ensure billing accuracy.
  • Assist in processing subcontractor data to ensure timely and efficient handling.
  • Identify trends in subcontractor payment issues and recommend solutions.
  • Support the development and implementation of Salesforce and NetSuite projects to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Design and produce analytical reports to identify trends that highlight inefficiencies and potential cost savings.
  • Develop and implement Salesforce reporting tools and dashboards to improve data accessibility and insights.
  • Collaborate with the National team to design and implement an approval process for customer and subcontractor pricing.
  • Perform accounting and administrative tasks as requested, providing clerical support to other departments when needed.
  • Adhere to all company safety standards, work rules, and regulations.
  • Effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
