About The Position

The Senior Pricing Analyst is responsible for developing, analyzing, and optimizing pricing strategies to support profitability and competitiveness. This role involves analysis of market trends, customer behavior, and internal cost structures to align pricing initiatives across business units. The analyst will collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations and Category Management to deliver insights and recommendations that inform pricing and profitability decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, or related field (Master’s a plus).
  • 4+ years of experience in pricing analysis, revenue management, or financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Powe/r BI, Tableau).
  • Experience building pricing models and frameworks in a business setting.
  • Solid understanding of pricing theory, elasticity, margin analysis, and cost structures.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ERP and CPQ systems (e.g. Infor, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce).
  • Experience with Pricing Optimization tools (e.g. Revenue Analytics, PROS, Zilliant, or similar) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with statistical modeling and predictive analytics.
  • Working knowledge of Python or R for advanced analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain pricing models and tools to evaluate current and future pricing strategies.
  • Lead in-depth pricing analyses, including price elasticity, discount effectiveness, and win/loss rate by price point.
  • Proactively recommend pricing actions that align with company objectives for revenue, margin, and market share.
  • Lead cross-functional pricing initiatives and support contract negotiations with data-driven input.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Sales to ensure any pricing assumptions align with business goals.
  • Monitor pricing compliance, assess discounting behavior, and identify areas for optimization.
  • Identify pricing anomalies, inconsistencies, or leakage and recommend corrective action.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate pricing implications of new product launches, packaging changes, or contract structures.
  • Support the design and testing of new pricing structures (e.g., usage-based, tiered) in partnership with the Pricing Strategy Manager.
  • Report on pricing KPIs and performance to senior leadership.
