About The Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position. The intern will be responsible for social media marketing, participating in campus awareness and education activities, and co-presenting/leading training workshops and presentations.

  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
  • Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop messaging for students about topics including dating/domestic violence, sexual violence, stalking, and other forms of interpersonal violence
  • Create promotional materials for CVIC at UND events
  • Participate in special event planning meetings and attend events when schedule allows (Clothesline Project, Take Back the Night Rally, other)
  • Assist in planning educational programs and activities for students
  • Attend and staff CVIC at UND table during booth events as available
  • Collect information on issues related to dating/domestic violence, sexual violence, stalking and other forms of interpersonal violence and how these issues impact college students
  • Co-present and lead training workshops and presentations with CVIC at UND staff
  • Collaborate with other Peer Educator programs at UND to provide education to the campus community
  • Attend CVIC meetings including Prevention & Education team meetings
  • Attend training and information sessions hosted by the One Love Foundation
  • Develop educational materials for presentations
  • Other duties as assigned
