About The Position

As a Preventative Maintenance Field Service Technician, you will be performing preventive maintenance on various types of customer/rental machines as per machine guidelines in a safe and timely manner on customer job sites. This role involves driving to customer job sites daily to complete preventive maintenance, operating heavy equipment to determine deficiencies or performance issues, and performing all necessary preventive maintenance work for each specific interval service. You will also be responsible for completing all work orders, time sheets & inspections from completed services, and operating the service truck safely while complying with all regulations. The ability to obtain a CDL license if required is also part of the role.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a mechanical background with 2 to 3 years of experience with heavy equipment, automotive, or on highway trucks.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Can work independently with little to no supervision
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include some nights and occasional weekends
  • Must have a valid Georgia driver license, prefer Class B - CDL

Nice To Haves

  • Course work from accredited trade school, college or university with emphasis in mechanics, hydraulics, and automotive electronics is desirable.
  • Candidates missing one requirement will still be considered.
