About The Position

As a Preventative Maintenance Field Service Technician, you will be performing preventive maintenance on various types of customer/rental machines as per machine guidelines in a safe and timely manner on customer job sites. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of applicable tools, and a desire to learn. You should possess a strong sense of urgency and a commitment to providing superior customer service, with the ability to take direction and work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Mechanical background with 2 to 3 years of experience with heavy equipment, automotive, or on highway trucks.
Basic computer skills
Excellent communication skills
Can work independently with little to no supervision
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include some nights and occasional weekends
Must have a valid Georgia driver license, prefer Class B - CDL

Nice To Haves

Must be able to obtain a CDL license if required
Course work from accredited trade school, college or university with emphasis in mechanics, hydraulics, and automotive electronics is desirable.

Responsibilities

Drive to customer’s job site daily to complete preventive maintenance.
Operate heavy equipment to determine deficiencies or performance issues daily.
Perform all necessary preventive maintenance work for each specific interval service.
Complete all work orders, time sheets & inspections from completed services.
Operate service truck safely and comply with all regulations.
Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner.
Additional duties as assigned by manager.
