About The Position

The Preventative Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and updating the computerized Maintenance PM system. This role has the authority to stop the production process for quality concerns and safety issues, initiate non-conformance reports, and document and disposition non-conforming material with existing scrap or rework codes.

Requirements

• Require high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be a team player
• Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks
• Must be able to lift up to 32 pounds at a time
• Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products or machines as directed
• Must have excellent hand-eye coordination
• Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components
• Must wear gloves, safety glasses, safety shoes, and ear protection, per the Elemental Operations Instructions Safety Points

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge/background with computerized PM/TPM systems
• Mechanical backgrounds or has mechanical abilities

Responsibilities

• Maintain computerized PM maintenance and quality system documentation
• Assist in ordering maintenance supplies/spare parts and maintain inventory control system
• Maintain work orders and machine utilization records
• Training other associates about PM program
• Operate production equipment as assigned by supervision
• Perform quality checks and perform preventative maintenance as required
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Prepare written documentation as required
• Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor
