Advanced Flow Systems is looking for an experienced Pressure Welder/Fitter to join our team in Calgary, AB.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Welding of Stainless Steel using GMAW
• TIG welding experience with Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel
• Mig welding experience on Stainless and Carbon steel pipe and vessels
• Fitting experience on Stainless and Carbon steel pipe and vessels

Responsibilities

• Perform production welding and metal fabrication, including pressure welding, brazing, cutting, and gouging.
• Read drawings and use hand tools.
• Assemble standard and custom metal components in a fast-paced shop environment.
• Work with Supervisors and Lead Hands to ensure continuous improvements in the work cells hitting daily goals set, welding according to pre-set parameters using TIG, MIG, and flux core welding processes.
• Read and follow drawings and blueprints to set up, tack, and weld.
• Complete all required paperwork and necessary preparation work.
• Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area.
• Work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records.
