About The Position

American Plastics is hiring a full-time Press Operator for the day shift. The role supports production, inspection, and packaging of injection-molded retail storage and janitorial products. The operator is expected to maintain a safe, clean operation and follow product specifications and customer packing requirements. The day shift runs from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on a fixed 2/2/3 schedule.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to stand for extended periods and bend, push, pull, and lift up to 40 pounds; team lift up to 80 pounds.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and authorize a background check.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Run a safe, clean operation that promotes zero accidents.
• Lift and remove parts from the conveyor line.
• Maintain product specifications and pack products according to customer requests.
• Trim, assemble, and pack parts.
• Supply production lines and packing and staging areas with required materials.
• Rotate presses every 2 to 3 hours.
• Work all scheduled shifts.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.
