About The Position

American Plastics is hiring a Press Operator to support production at a manufacturer of injection-molded products. The role involves producing, inspecting, and packaging retail storage and janitorial products. The position offers a day shift from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on a fixed 2/2/3 schedule, with 1:1 training. Compensation is $15.25–$20.25 per hour, with earnings up to $20.25 per hour for perfect attendance.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and authorize a background check.
• Be able to stand for extended periods and bend, push, pull, and lift up to 40 pounds individually and up to 80 pounds with a team.

• Manufacturing or warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely and maintain a clean work area to promote zero accidents.
• Lift and remove parts from the conveyor line.
• Maintain product specifications and pack products according to customer requests.
• Trim, assemble, and pack parts.
• Supply production lines and packing and staging areas with required materials.
• Rotate presses every 2 to 3 hours.
• Work all scheduled shifts.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
