Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
1+ years of manufacturing experience required.
Commitment to working safely and understanding all safety procedures.
Reliable and dependable.
Ability to communicate safety, quality, and product issues with supervisors, team members, and across shifts.
Ability to follow Press Data Sheet, ensuring product is processed according to proper routings and specifications, and that quantity and style are correct.
Ability to work to meet daily departmental production goals.
Must be a US Citizen or a US Permanent Resident.

Nice To Haves

2-year technical degree preferred.
Experience with CNC or PLC machine controls preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate multiple CNC Carbide Presses (Dorst, Osterwalder, or PCT) with computer-controlled setup.
Make adjustments to CNC programs as part of the setup process.
Load and unload trays from multiple presses.
Gage parts to ensure proper dimensions.
Scope parts to verify visual characteristics.
Select and weigh Tungsten powder for pressing into green parts.
Separate scrap from good parts and document accurately.
Scan correct production information in Mii.
Maintain and resurface tooling used in machines.
Operate other equipment as needed.
Train new operators when required.
Troubleshoot moderate to complex problems.
Perform Quality Checks per the Quality Inspection plan, verifying powder and lot, and ensuring tooling matches the production order and press information sheet.
