About The Position

The Rubber Press Operator is responsible for operating compression or transfer molding presses to manufacture high-quality rubber components. This role ensures production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • Direct experience operating and troubleshooting rubber molding equipment.
  • Previous experience as a Rubber Press Operator or in a similar manufacturing role.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing production needs.
  • Adhere to ISO 90001

Responsibilities

  • Operate rubber molding presses (compression/transfer/injection) according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Load raw rubber materials and remove finished molded parts from presses
  • Inspect parts for defects such as flash, voids, or incomplete curing
  • Trim excess material (flash) using hand tools or trimming equipment
  • Monitor press temperature, pressure, and cycle times
  • Perform basic machine adjustments as needed within training limits
  • Follow production schedules and meet hourly output targets
  • Maintain clean and organized work area (5S standards)
  • Complete production and quality documentation accurately
  • Report equipment issues, safety hazards, or quality concerns to supervisors
  • Maintain accurate production logs, recording output, quality checks, and any machine adjustments made during operations.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Work closely with team members to achieve production targets and improve processes.
