Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED equivalent
• 2+ years working as an operator in a molded manufacturing oriented environment
• Attention to detail
• Working knowledge of different presses, safety equipment and applicable tools
• Able to lift 70 lbs

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual – English/Spanish preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Operation of presses assigned by the production schedule or Molding Foreman
• Loading and unloading of material and product from the tool
• Understand (English or Spanish) and follow the router instructions and sign off
• Maintain production rates and efficiencies consistent with the company goals and requirements
• Visual In-process inspection to verify product and sign off
• Maintain proper part identification and traceability
• Suggest process and manufacturing improvements when and if insufficiencies exist on Opportunity For Improvements (OFI) Forms
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook or directed by the Molding Foreman
• Conduct monthly expired material audit. (If identified)
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
