About The Position

Tile Redi is seeking a dedicated, safety-focused press operator to join our team. This role is responsible for operating mold injection press equipment to produce high-quality shower pans and related products according to company standards. The Flex Operator ensures consistent production output, adheres to safety and housekeeping policies, and supports continuous improvement efforts across the production floor. The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to teamwork and maintaining Tile Redi’s reputation for precision and quality.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in manufacturing, molding, or press operation preferred

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate mold injection press equipment
Consistently achieve a daily production target of 20+ pans
Maintain a scrap rate below 5%
Perform sanding, assembly, and packing of finished products
Inspect parts and finished products for defects, irregularities, or inconsistencies
Support on-the-floor problem-solving efforts when quality or productivity goals are not met
Proactively suggest process improvements or cost-saving ideas to improve efficiency and product quality
Maintain 5S standards (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to ensure a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
Assist with the training and mentoring of new employees
Flex-train in other departments as needed to support overall team success.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
