About The Position

The Press Operator operates and maintains a hydraulic or mechanical press to shape, form, or cut metal and other materials according to specifications. The role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and commitment to quality and safety standards. The position is based in Springfield, Tennessee, and is scheduled for a 4×10 second shift from 2:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of manufacturing production experience.
• Active driver’s license.
• Able to bend, stoop, grip, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs. repetitively.
• Able to read and write English.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Pass Lock out/Tag out requirements.
• Use basic troubleshooting and decision-making skills.
• Set up and operate press machines according to production specifications and work orders.
• Work within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods.
• Receive verbal and written information.
• Complete necessary documentation and communicate accurately and promptly.
• Understand written instructions and communicate those instructions to others.
