About The Position

M+A Matting is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals for a physically demanding, hands-on manufacturing position operating industrial Heat Press machinery in a fast-paced production environment. The role involves frequent heavy material handling and repetitive physical movements, including handling industrial molds weighing between 25 and 80 pounds. Employees work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment where Heat Press machines generate significant heat, resulting in high workplace temperatures. Candidates should be prepared for physically intensive work in hot conditions throughout their scheduled shifts.

Requirements

Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 25–85 pounds.
Ability to stand and remain physically active throughout the scheduled shift.
Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled industrial environment.
Ability to maintain productivity while performing physically demanding tasks.
Ability to perform essential job functions safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to safety.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

Perform physically demanding production duties, including frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and handling industrial materials.
Load and feed materials into industrial Heat Press machinery.
Review production schedules and verify materials before processing.
Maintain production efficiency and meet established daily quotas.
Perform repetitive physical tasks, including prolonged standing, bending, and reaching.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
Follow all safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
Perform additional production duties as assigned.
