About The Position

Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials Inc. is hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Press Operator in Delmont, Pennsylvania. The role supports production of high-quality products by operating press equipment, following safety and quality standards, and helping meet daily production goals. The position is on 3rd shift and pays $21.83 per hour. Base pay may be influenced by the position’s scope and responsibilities, the candidate’s experience, education and training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, and market and business considerations. Geographic adjustments may apply if authorization is granted to work outside the listed location.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Manufacturing or hands-on work experience.
• Strong attention to detail and a safety mindset.
• Ability to use basic measurement tools.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Teamwork and good communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Quality inspection experience.
• Forklift and/or saw operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate press equipment to support daily production.
• Prepare molds by cleaning them through scraping or vacuuming, applying mold release, and loading and leveling them.
• Use overhead cranes and scales to move materials.
• Follow Manufacturing Orders (MO), including specified materials and step-by-step instructions.
• Perform quality checks using measurement tools to ensure products meet specifications.
• Operate additional equipment, such as press saws, as needed.
• Use a forklift to move and stage materials; training and certification are required.
• Keep the work area clean and organized through 5S and housekeeping practices.
• Enter basic production information into Movex.
• Stay on schedule and help meet production goals.
