About The Position

As our Press Assistant, you will assist the Press Operator with the everyday operation of the press, ensuring the press is producing product to exceed our customers’ expectations. You will work in a team environment and cross-train with others, receiving training to help advance your career. A key responsibility includes moving gathered books from the end of the press and placing them on skids.

Requirements

• Previous machine experience preferred
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Comfortable with computer applications
• Ability to work in teams or alone
• Ability to motivate other team members

Responsibilities

• Assist the Press Operator with the everyday operation of the press
• Ensure Press is producing product to exceed our customers’ expectations
• Work in a team environment and cross-train with others
• Receive training to help advance your career
• Move gathered books from end of press and place on skids

Benefits

• Starting at $22.00 an hour for day shift with a 7.5% an hour shift differential for night shift
