About The Position

The Press Operator 1 sets up and operates a Sakurai press to produce screen prints that meet customer specifications and quality standards. The role follows and promotes safety policies and procedures and performs other duties as assigned. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., at 200 Hulman St., Terre Haute, IN 47802. Pay is $23.00–$26.25 per hour, with a $1.00-per-hour night-shift differential.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand written instructions and perform basic math.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a team and provide direction.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for 12 hours, and bend or reach for extended periods.
• Previous printing or screen-printing experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Mechanical or technical training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Confirm screen print matches customer specifications and set up the job and machine accordingly to print accurately and maintain the customer’s quality standard.
