About The Position

This role involves assisting the press operator with various tasks to ensure smooth production. The Press Feeder will be responsible for preparing materials, operating machinery, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Responsibilities

• Review work order or receive verbal instructions to determine ink, stock, and equipment needed for production.
• Assist press operator with press set up, including hanging plates and blankets on press cylinders using hand tools.
• Keep the press supplied with top-quality paper stock.
• Pour ink into reservoirs of printing units and maintain ink agitators.
• Remove loaded pallets of printed material from the stacking mechanism using a pallet jack and replace with empty pallets.
• Periodically assist with preventative maintenance duties.
• Pay close attention to small details throughout the process.
• Clean and maintain machinery, equipment, and work areas to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
