Join us and let's Imagine a better way together.? Job Summary: The Press Feeder/2nd Pressman is responsible for operating analog printing equipment with a focus on production and quality standards. This role focuses on attention to detail and quality control to meet client standards and ensure the project stays within budget and on time. The ideal candidate will have a team first mindset play a critical role in the successful operation of machinery with high levels of responsibility and efficiency.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and understand oral/written instructions.
  • Basic math skills including knowledge of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • A strong team player who cooperates well with other team members and supervisor.
  • A reliable team player who is punctual and maintains a clean work area.
  • Demonstrates a positive safety-first work ethic.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of press operations and functions.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for press set-up to ensure correct registration, color, and ink viscosity, along with mixing colors and print quality.
  • Follow instructional direction for job tickets and sets the press up or directs the set-up of press based on instructions.
  • Responsible for optimum speed, registration, and print quality according to established standards.
  • Run, adjust, and troubleshoot production jobs on press.
  • Follow pressroom procedures for control sheets, charging time & material, load tags, FSC stock, and samples.
  • Responsible for performing preventative maintenance.
  • Maintains and provides productions logs and reports, as necessary.
  • Accounts for labor and materials consumed through accurate data collection.
  • Assists management with the training of production personnel.
  • Maintaining a clean, clutter-free work area.
  • Communicate with clients and customers in a professional and polite manner as needed.
  • Able to work overtime and outside standard hours as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
