About The Position

In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our printing processes. We are hiring at our Mitchell Island location at 11300 Twigg Place on our afternoon shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:15PM-1:45AM - enjoy a 3-day weekend! Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience working in manufacturing/printing
- Basic knowledge of presswork procedures and materials
- Effective communication skills and ability to follow written instructions on the job ticket
- Ability to operate hand carts, pallet jacks, and feeder mechanisms
- Comfortable with entering data in computer
- Eye for efficiency and thrives in a continuous improvement culture
- Must be a team player
Responsibilities
- Ensure material is loaded into feeders in an efficient manner for smooth operations
- Make adjustments to equipment such as feeder mechanism based on the size of paper
- Provide assistance as needed to setup equipment
- Assist with retrieving, hanging and recycling/storing plates
- Troubleshoot quality and press issues
- Follow department procedures
