LAV- Second shift- Press Fabricator
About The Position
Anchor Fabrication, LLC, a precision metal fabrication company located in LaVergne, Tennessee is seeking experienced Press and Punch Operators for the 2nd shift. This role involves setting up and operating Punch & Press machines to produce quality parts, conducting scheduled preventative maintenance, reading blueprints, performing first/last piece inspections, and troubleshooting minor issues. The operator will also work with Maintenance on major issues and maintain a clean and safe work area. Overtime or shift changes may be required based on company needs. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Punch & Press Operation experience preferred.
- Mechanically adept.
- Blueprint reading.
- Good math skills.
- G/D & T Knowledge preferred but not required.
- High School or Equivalent.
- Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred).
- Press brake machine: 1 year (Preferred).
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the metal fabrication industries is a plus.
- Technical School Experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate all Punch & Press operations to produce quality parts.
- Conducts preventative as scheduled.
- Read blueprints and conduct first/last piece inspection.
- Troubleshoot and repair minor issues as needed.
- Work with Maintenance on major issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- May be required to work overtime or different shift than originally assigned based on company needs.
