About The Position

ANCHOR FABRICATION has immediate openings for highly motivated Welders seeking to work in a fast-paced, quality-centered environment. This is a second shift position, from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, and requires the ability to work overtime as needed.

Requirements

• 1+ years of welding experience
• Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to position the weld apparatus in any position the work requires
• Position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Position may require bending, kneeling, and stooping
• Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and chemicals
• Physical weld testing on-site must be acceptable.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in the industrial manufacturing industry is preferred

Responsibilities

• Knowledge and understanding of weld symbols
• Welding (MIG/TIG) - Robot Welding Freehand-weld aluminum
• Steel, Stainless, and Aluminum welding
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to read blueprints
• How to use a large belt sander
• Responsible for continually maintaining a clean working environment
• Uses proper PPE and follows all safety procedures
