Requirements

The ability to work any shift is required
Must demonstrate the ability to safely lift to 65 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
Ability to communicate effectively with fluency in English; Good verbal communications skills a plus.
Team player; ability to work as a team.
Self-starter; Adaptable to change.
Ability to prioritize needs.

Nice To Haves

Desirable Manufacturing Experience.
HSD or GED preferred.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with AS400 system plus.

Responsibilities

Place safety first.
Responsible for the productive and efficient operation of the extrusion press.
Responsible for Quality and Quantity of material being produced in the extrusion press.
Responsible for monitoring and controlling the Log Furnace.
Responsible for monitoring and operating the Log Shear.
Responsible for monitoring and operating the Extrusion Press.
Responsible for monitoring and operating the Extrusion Puller System.
Responsible for the control of the Extrusion Cooling Process.
Responsible for monitoring and operating the Extrusion Handling System.
Responsible for the computer set-up and monitoring of the extrusion press system.
Responsible for quality checks of the extruded material.
Responsible for housekeeping around the press operation area.
