About The Position

This role involves the safe operation of an Extrusion Press, making continual adjustments to ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The position requires performing all scheduled quality tests to ensure the quality and quantity of material, as well as monitoring and controlling the Log Furnace, Log Shear, Press, and Puller. Computer setup and monitoring of the press system are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

• Must demonstrate the ability to safely lift to 100 lbs. on a repetitive basis, with a partner.
• The ability to work any shift is required.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in Extrusion Operation preferred.
• Knowledge of extrusion process and quality measures preferred.
