About The Position
G&W Products is currently seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. This is a first shift position located at our Fairfield, OH facility. We are looking for individuals with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Requirements
- 1-2 years Press Brake Operators Experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Responsibilities
- Read, interpret, and follow job orders and blueprints accurately.
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, punch, form, shape, or straighten metal plates or sheet metal.
- Utilize precision measuring tools (calipers, protractors, etc.) to verify specifications and inspect quality of finished products.
- Maintain and clean machinery before and after each shift to ensure optimal performance.
- Adjust machine settings for speed, material feed, and path of the cut; ensure machines are properly set up and producing quality output.
- Test and modify machine speeds or actions according to product specifications using gauges and hand tools.
- Inspect assembled parts to confirm they meet all required specifications.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear necessary protective equipment.
