About The Position

Responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machinery to bend, form, and fabricate metal components according to engineering specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. The operator will work closely with the production team to ensure parts are produced accurately, efficiently, and safely.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating a press brake (CNC experience preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes
• Mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders
• Select appropriate tooling, dies, and machine settings for each job
• Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to tolerances
• Perform routine maintenance and report any mechanical issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Monitor production output and adjust machine settings as needed
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
