About The Position

Zehnder Rittling is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator (including set-up) to join their manufacturing team. This dependable candidate will have experience with set-up, operation and maintenance of mechanical brake presses and feeders for aluminum and steel fin and bracket components. The Machine Operator will work closely with other team members to meet production goals while adhering to safety standards. Reliable transportation is required for the specified shifts: 5:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime on Friday (5:30 am to 4:00 pm) and Saturday (5:30 am to 11:30 am).

Requirements

Prior manufacturing experience with set-up and operation of presses
Basic Mechanical Skills and ability to use small hand tools
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and utilize measuring equipment such as calipers/micrometer.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Reliable transportation is required

Prior vocational/trade school background preferred

Responsibilities

Reviews job order to determine customer specifications.
Determines dies necessary to run job.
Sets up press, positioning dies, set ram etc.
Operates press at speed necessary to produce required product quantities and meet quality standards.
Sets feeder (i.e. to size of Fin and stroke feed)
Performs periodic inspection of product to ensure quality
Completes paperwork specific to jobs.
Works in a safe manner, utilizing all required personal protective equipment.
Assists in all other areas of cell. Maintains flexibility to transfer to other cells to assist when needed.
Performs autonomous maintenance on equipment.
Works as part of the team and continuously seeks to identify and eliminate non-value added processes and waste.
