Requirements

• Proven experience with press brake operation and complex bending processes.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills for precise measurements and calculations.
• Excellent blueprint reading and interpretation abilities.
• Ability to modify and set up custom punch and die tooling.
• Proficiency in programming press brakes, including advanced features.
• Knowledge of production scheduling and material requirements planning.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret customer orders and blueprints to ensure accurate project execution.
• Review production schedules to determine required materials and resources.
• Prepare and operate complex bend setups and forming operations on press brakes.
• Modify and customize punch and die tools for specific projects.
• Program press brakes using features such as various bending angles, step bends, and back gauge transfers.
• Execute bending sequences, delays, and tooling adjustments for complex projects.
• Maintain safety standards and operate equipment correctly and efficiently.
• Perform quality checks on finished parts to verify adherence to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tooling, programming, and machine operation.
