2nd Shift - Press Brake Operator
About The Position
Cutting Dynamics, LLC, part of the Re:Build family of companies and located in Avon, Ohio, is seeking a Press Brake Operator to fabricate parts for a variety of aerospace and other customers. The role operates CNC press brake equipment for production and non-production jobs and works with coworkers, supervisors, management, and other shop personnel to complete assignments and address machining or quality issues. The operator follows established Quality Management System procedures, performs inspections and records results, completes associated paperwork, maintains equipment, and keeps the work area safe, organized, and clean. The listed shift hours are 4:30 p.m.–2:00 a.m. or 3:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of CNC press brake experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Demonstrated inspection competence.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
Responsibilities
- Set up, load, and run product on the CNC press brake machine.
- Perform daily equipment maintenance and clean the work area after each shift.
- Follow inspection requirements in the Process Routing Document and legibly record inspection results.
- Complete reports and associated paperwork.
- Communicate with management, the foreperson, operators, quality personnel, and other shop personnel about assignments and machining or quality issues.
- Follow applicable Quality Management System procedures, work instructions, and forms.
- Safeguard company, customer, and supplier electronic, intellectual, and physical property.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
