About The Position
G&W Products, Inc. is hiring two Press Brake Operators for its second-shift manufacturing team. The shift runs Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., and includes a $5 shift differential. The role involves setting up and operating press brake machines to shape metal while meeting product specifications and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of press brake operator experience.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Responsibilities
- Read, interpret, and follow job orders and blueprints accurately.
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, punch, form, shape, or straighten metal plates or sheet metal.
- Use precision measuring tools, such as calipers and protractors, to verify specifications and inspect finished-product quality.
- Maintain and clean machinery before and after each shift.
- Adjust machine settings for speed, material feed, and cut path, ensuring proper setup and quality output.
- Test and modify machine speeds or actions according to product specifications using gauges and hand tools.
- Inspect assembled parts to confirm they meet required specifications.
- Follow safety procedures and wear necessary protective equipment.
