About The Position

RRD is a leading global provider of marketing, packaging, print, and supply chain solutions. This role is responsible for ensuring a constant flow of materials to equipment, making adjustments based on paper size, delivering components like plates and spray heads, recycling old plates, and providing basic assistance with equipment make-ready and operation. The position is on the 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, 3pm to 11pm, with a shift premium.

Requirements

• Requires basic knowledge of presswork procedures and materials learned through on the job training
• Ability to follow instructions to assist in press set up, operation and maintenance
• Able to operate hand carts, pallet jacks, stackers, and hydraulic feed mechanisms

Responsibilities

• Ensure paper or raw materials (inks, glues, etc.) are loaded into feeders, hoppers, bins, etc. to supply a constant flow of materials while the equipment is running
• Make adjustments to equipment such as feeder mechanism based on the size of the paper
• Deliver equipment components such as plates or spray heads to the equipment for installation
• Recycle old/discarded plates
• Provide basic assistance as needed to make-ready the equipment for operation
• Assist with retrieving plates, hanging plates and recycling/storing plates and other tasks associated with make-ready of the plates
