About The Position
The Goddard School is seeking an enthusiastic, nurturing teacher to create a warm, safe, engaging environment where children can learn and grow. The role emphasizes purposeful play, curiosity-led learning, age-appropriate educational activities, and strong partnerships with children, families, and fellow educators. Teachers track developmental milestones, communicate progress with families, and encourage kindness, curiosity, and confidence. The school describes a supportive, well-resourced, fully staffed classroom environment with professional development and career-growth opportunities. Full- or part-time positions are available. The schedule has no nights or weekends.
Requirements
- Have 1–2 years of classroom experience.
- Bring a passion for early learning and a heart for children.
- Be able to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comply with state-required training and background check requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
