About The Position

Primrose School of Aliana is hiring an experienced Preschool Teacher to work with children ages 1 to 5. The teacher plans and implements ongoing activities that promote each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning® approach. This is a full-time or part-time closing-shift position at the school's Richmond, Texas location. The posting states there are no nights or weekends and that schedules may vary based on enrollment, classroom ratios, staffing coverage, training, school events, or operational needs. Duties may evolve as the school grows. The teacher contributes to the children, families, classroom team, and school community. Responsibilities include ensuring child safety and supervision, implementing curriculum and maintaining the classroom, communicating and partnering with families, collaborating with colleagues and leadership, supporting school operations, and representing the school professionally. Requirements

Nice To Haves

Previous teaching or assistant teaching experience in a licensed early childhood center.

Responsibilities

Maintain active supervision, follow licensing, health, and safety standards, ensure proper ratios, and provide a safe, nurturing classroom environment.
Implement the Primrose Schools Balanced Learning® curriculum, maintain an organized classroom, follow daily routines, and support children's academic, social, emotional, and character development.
Build positive relationships with families through professional communication, classroom updates, and consistent partnership.
Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership, demonstrate professionalism, support school needs, accept coaching, pursue continuous improvement, and contribute to a positive team environment.
Support assigned school operations, which may include marketing, social media, newsletters, calendars, community outreach, and administrative work.
Represent Primrose School of Aliana professionally in daily interactions, at school events, and through digital and social media platforms and communications.
Plan and implement ongoing activities promoting children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
