About The Position
The Guild of St. Agnes is seeking an EEC-certified Preschool Teacher for its Charlton, Massachusetts location. The teacher will shape the classroom environment within agency guidelines by leading, coordinating, and making decisions that develop and maintain a quality early childhood program. The role supports the Lead Teacher and contributes to an engaging, enriching, and safe learning environment for children. A successfully completed EEC background check is required.
Requirements
- EEC certification.
- College-level coursework in Child Growth and Development.
- At least 9 months of experience working with infant, toddler, or preschool children.
- Successfully complete an EEC background check.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, staying alert to their individual and group needs.
- Support the Lead Teacher in creating and implementing an exciting and enriching learning environment for children.
- Share in classroom decision-making and work toward a mutually agreeable plan that is best for the children.
- Help develop and maintain a quality early childhood program within agency guidelines.
