About The Position

The Preschool Teacher will work at a partner daycare and preschool with toddlers and preschoolers. The role involves creating hands-on activities based on children’s interests and skills, documenting and sharing milestones, and supporting children’s safety, engagement, and age-appropriate development. Work takes place in child care centers with resources and an engaging curriculum. Associate Teacher positions are available. Both full-time and part-time positions are offered, with flexible scheduling referenced in the posting. Training, professional development, and ongoing support are provided.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass required state and company background checks.
• Be willing to obtain CPR certification, MMR vaccination, a TB test, and COVID-19 vaccination.
• Demonstrate experience working with children or have excellent customer service experience.
• Meet state minimum education and experience requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a babysitter, summer nanny, church nursery worker, camp counselor, or in a similar role.
• Interest in continued growth toward classroom teacher, private nanny, paraprofessional, or similar child-focused careers.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement hands-on activities based on observations of children’s interests and skills.
• Document and share special moments and important milestones of children in care.
• Ensure the safety, engagement, and age-appropriate development of children in care.
• Complete online training.
• Participate in orientation and work with the team as references and background screens are verified.
