Preschool Teacher
About The Position
As a Preschool Teacher at the Primrose School of Conroe, you will create a fun, safe environment and follow a daily schedule designed to develop children’s confidence and independence. You will guide children through small-group instruction as they learn new content and understand increasingly complex information. You will work with a co-teacher to implement lesson plans from the research-informed Balanced Learning® curriculum. The school provides classroom materials, tools, training, and support from its Leadership Team to help create a safe, healthy environment where children and team members can thrive.
Responsibilities
- Build genuine relationships with each child.
- Help children learn about language and literacy, science, life skills, and other subjects.
- Work with a co-teacher to implement lesson plans from the Balanced Learning® curriculum.
- Maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore, and make decisions with confidence.
- Adapt teaching to discover what works best for each child as they learn about the world around them.
- Create a fun and safe classroom environment that supports children’s confidence and independence.
