About The Position

Ascend's Little Miracle Program seeks a Part-Time Preschool Support Staff/ Assistant to support our 'Little Miracles' Community Program in Antioch for children with developmental, learning, sensory processing, and language and communication disorders. We seek a dedicated, passionate part-time aide who can work as part of a team to create a fun environment and incorporate educational activities that support our children's development. This is a fantastic opportunity if you love working with children and helping your community. Join our team of dedicated teaching and support staff. Part-time - 22-25 hours a week (8:30 AM - 1:00 PM). At Ascend. We believe every day holds the possibility of a miracle. We aim to grow, learn, and develop just like the children we serve. Our experienced staff provides home-based, school-based, and center-based services.

Requirements

1-year minimum working with children ages 0-5 years old.
CPR certification.
High school or equivalent (Required).
Must be comfortable with diaper changing and assisting staff in cleaning up for the kiddos.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with special needs children.
Bilingual preferred.
A minimum of 6 ECE (Early Childhood Education) units are preferred but can also be enrolled in or after starting.
Some College (Preferred).
Special education: 1 year (Preferred).
Childcare: 1 year (Preferred).
