About The Position

Ridgway II Preschool is seeking a caring, dedicated part-time Preschool Paraprofessional to join its Early Intervention team. The role supports young children in a fun, nurturing environment during their early years and involves working alongside educators dedicated to child development. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Warm, patient, and positive attitude.
• Successfully complete new clearances and background checks before the start date.
• Successfully complete a health physical examination before the start date.
• Successfully complete a tuberculosis (TB) test before the start date.
• Successfully complete pre-employment drug screening before the start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers with daily activities, learning play, and classroom routines.
• Provide one-on-one and small-group support to help students meet early learning goals.
• Create a safe, encouraging, and positive environment for preschool children.
