About The Position

This is a temporary Developmental Disabilities (DD) Preschool Paraeducator position for the 2026–27 school year. Under the direction and supervision of a building administrator and licensed or certificated staff, the paraeducator performs tasks related to student instruction and supervision, prepares instructional materials, carries out behavior management plans, provides general health room support, performs limited clerical and reception tasks, and provides personal health-related services for medically fragile students or students with special needs. Other related duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

The position is listed as starting ASAP and has a schedule of 5.75 hours daily for 144 contract days. Paraeducator qualification options are two years of study at an institution of higher education meeting the stated Higher Education Act criteria, with all classes at level 100 or higher; an associate degree or higher; or passing the ETS ParaPro Assessment.
