About The Position

Spring Education Group is a nationwide network of private schools focused on helping children thrive through proven curriculum, caring educators, and engaging learning environments. At Chesterbrook Academy in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the Preschool Teacher creates engaging learning experiences for young children through exploration and play. Curriculum and lesson-planning resources are provided, with room for teachers to bring their own interests, talents, and creativity into the classroom. The role helps children build confidence, independence, early academic skills, friendships, and a positive foundation for learning. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with no nights or weekends, and pays $16.00–$18.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to balance structure, creativity, and fun in a busy preschool classroom.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Meet applicable state licensing requirements.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a licensed childcare or early learning setting.
• CDA or a degree in Early Childhood Education.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on lessons and activities using stories, art, music, movement, and play.
• Help children develop confidence, independence, early academic skills, and friendships.
• Use the provided curriculum and lesson-planning resources while adding creative ideas.
• Build meaningful relationships with children.
• Communicate with families about each child’s day, growth, and milestones.
• Work with fellow teachers and school leaders to create a positive, supportive classroom.
