Lead Preschool Teacher
About The Position
The Lead Preschool Teacher works side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home-away-from-home for children in care according to NAEYC guidelines. The role is based in one assigned classroom and includes supporting the safety, supervision, learning, and development of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. The teacher creates developmentally appropriate curriculum and programs based on children’s interests and learning styles, maintains a warm, safe, and clean environment, partners with families to develop care and education plans, and communicates effectively with parents and guardians.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field required.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized.
- Ability to work within regular operating hours.
- Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

- One year of experience in a licensed child care facility preferred.
