About The Position

The Malvern School is seeking a full-time Assistant Teacher for the Preschool classroom at its Valley Forge location, Monday through Friday. The role supports the implementation of the school’s early childhood education program in accordance with school policies and the Malvern School philosophy. The Assistant Teacher maintains a safe, healthy, and educational classroom environment and communicates regularly with parents, in person and through technology, to meet or exceed their expectations.

Requirements

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age.
• At least 2,500 hours of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility; or 15 relevant college credits (or a CDA) and at least 1,250 hours of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and the Malvern School philosophy.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and educational environment for the class.
• Communicate regularly with parents in person and through technology, meeting or exceeding parent expectations.
