About The Position

Chesterbrook Academy is seeking a caring, creative, and enthusiastic teacher to join its early childhood education team. The role supports a twos program focused on discovery, independence, and building a foundation for lifelong learning. The teacher guides young children through hands-on experiences that encourage exploration, language development, and social growth in a nurturing, safe, and fun classroom environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months of experience working in childcare required.
• Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and passion for helping children learn through play and exploration.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities that support each child’s development.
• Foster social-emotional growth by modeling kindness, patience, and problem-solving.
• Maintain consistent routines that help toddlers feel secure as they become more independent.
• Build meaningful relationships with families through daily communication and collaboration.
• Partner with co-teachers and school leaders to uphold a supportive classroom culture.
