About The Position

Grow Early Learning is seeking a highly motivated Preschool Assistant Teacher in Indiantown, Florida. The assistant teacher helps the lead teacher implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum and provides a safe, nurturing environment that supports children’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth. The role includes maintaining an organized classroom, communicating with parents and caregivers, and following health and safety protocols.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a state-approved training program for early childhood education.
Experience working with young children in a classroom setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate with a team of teachers and support staff.
Enrollment in an associate or bachelor’s degree program, or enrollment in a CDA credential program or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field.
Preschool Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or state equivalency.
Experience working with diverse populations of children and families.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of all children in the classroom.
Provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes children’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Maintain a clean and organized classroom conducive to learning.
Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about children’s progress and address their concerns or questions.
Ensure the safety and well-being of children by following health and safety guidelines and protocols.
