Requirements

18+ years old
High school diploma or GED
CDA, associate's, or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
6–12 months of experience in a licensed preschool or childcare setting
12–24 months of experience working with children under age three in a licensed setting
Infant/toddler training (Provided if needed)
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and reside in Hawaiʻi (or have plans to relocate).

Nice To Haves

If you're passionate about working with children but don't yet meet all PATCH qualifications, ask about our limited Teacher Aide opportunities. (Pay range: $17–$18.50/hour) We'll help you complete the required training to meet PATCH qualifications. We even cover the cost of your CDA! (Child Development Associate)

Responsibilities

Create a safe, welcoming classroom where every child feels seen and supported
Plan engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences
Encourage social, emotional, language, and cognitive development through play
Build positive partnerships with families
Work closely with fellow teachers to create a fun, collaborative classroom environment
