About The Position

At the Primrose School of Burlington, we have built something different for certified, experienced teachers who are tired of working in a negative environment, buying their own supplies, and taking planning home at night. Your day will involve teaching alongside an equal partner, as every classroom has two co-teachers with shared ownership and voice. Each classroom has a dedicated support teacher who covers breaks, planning time, and days off, ensuring consistency for the children. You will also have a dedicated education coach available daily to act as a thought partner, resource, and advocate, ensuring you have everything needed for success. Planning time is provided at work during scheduled hours, and all classroom materials, resources, and supplies are fully provided.

Requirements

• Certified teacher with a Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) teacher certification.
• Demonstrated experience in early childhood education, preschool or Pre-K level preferred.
• Full-time availability.

Responsibilities

• Teach alongside an equal partner in a co-teaching model.
• Make classroom decisions and work collaboratively with a co-teacher.
• Ensure classroom coverage for breaks, planning time, and days off.
• Provide consistency for students even when the primary teacher is absent.
• Collaborate with an education coach daily for support and development.
• Utilize provided planning time at work.
• Use fully provided classroom materials, resources, and supplies.
