About The Position

At the Primrose School of Burlington, we have built something different. You teach alongside an equal partner. Every classroom at Primrose has two co-teachers. Not a lead and an assistant. Not a mentor and a mentee. Two teachers, with shared ownership and shared voice. You make decisions and work each day together. Your classroom always has the coverage it deserves. Each classroom has a dedicated support teacher who knows your students, your routines, and your expectation. They cover your breaks, your planning time, and your days off. No rotating substitutes disrupting what’s important to you. Your children get consistency even when you can’t be there. You have an education coach in your corner, every day. Every Primrose teacher is paired with a dedicated education coach. Not just for formal observations. Not just when something goes wrong. Every single day. Your coach is a thought partner, a resource, and an advocate who helps you become the teacher you’re working toward being. From your first day, your education coach will make sure you have absolutely everything you need to feel successful in your role. You will never face a challenging situation in your classroom alone. Your planning happens at work. We protect your planning time, on the clock, within your scheduled hours. We don’t believe teachers should take work home. You leave at the end of the day clear-headed, and your evenings and weekends are yours. We cover everything your classroom needs. All materials, all resources, all supplies are fully provided by us. You will never pay out of your own pocket for your classroom.

Requirements

Certified teacher
Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) teacher certification (required)
Demonstrated experience in early childhood education, preschool or Pre-K level preferred
Full-time availability

Responsibilities

Teach alongside an equal partner in a co-teaching environment.
Make decisions and work collaboratively with a co-teacher.
Ensure classroom coverage for breaks, planning time, and days off.
Provide consistency for students even during teacher absences.
Work with a dedicated education coach for daily support and professional development.
Conduct planning during work hours on the clock.
Utilize provided classroom materials, resources, and supplies.
