About The Position

As a Presales Engineer at Squirro, you’ll bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI technology and real-world business impact. Working closely with our sales, product, and delivery teams, you’ll consult with enterprise customers to design, demonstrate, and deliver Generative and Agentic AI solutions that enable digital transformation — especially within the banking, insurance, and financial services sectors. This role blends technical expertise, consultative sales skills, and strategic thinking. You’ll help clients understand how Squirro’s platform and intelligent agents can streamline workflows, augment decision-making, and create measurable value.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in presales, solution consulting, or technical sales, with the ability to translate complex solutions for both technical and business audiences.
  • Strong background in software development and consulting, ideally with Python, APIs, and cloud architectures.
  • Experience with Linux, scripting, and system integration.
  • Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, or intelligent agent frameworks — plus a solid understanding of data, NLP, and unstructured information systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in financial services or insurance
  • Familiarity with Elasticsearch or vector databases
  • A passion for helping enterprises scale AI responsibly.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with customers throughout the full cycle of solution design, implementation, and support.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures, and scope innovative Generative AI and Agentic solutions that deliver real transformation.
  • Plan and deliver tailored product demonstrations and Proof of Value (POV) engagements showcasing how intelligent agents and Generative AI can solve complex enterprise challenges.
  • Partner closely with the sales team to identify opportunities, shape proposals, and align customer needs with Squirro’s product capabilities. Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle.
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance and extend the platform with Python-based components (e.g., orchestrators, RAG pipelines, prompt-engineering frameworks).
  • Design and adapt Frontend BI dashboards and Agentic UIs to visualize AI-driven insights.
  • Represent the customer voice internally, communicating field insights to Product and Engineering teams.
  • Contribute to AI solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and consultative documentation for project scoping and internal knowledge sharing.
  • Stay current with the fast-moving landscape of Generative AI models, agent frameworks, and orchestration technologies, proactively advising customers on adoption strategies, risks, and opportunities.
